Valid from the 1st May 2005 the new European norm CPD, the Directive 89/106/CE that defines the new obligations and responsibilities for Producers of all building products. Taken into Italy by DPR n° 246/93 dated 21/04/1993, it has the objective to remove the commercial barriers in the UE market through the use of harmonized norms by the Member States.
In our specific sector, the norm of reference for the technic closures is: UNI EN 13241-1. Its use, compulsory, enables the mark CE. The not correct use of the mark CE involves the following offences: 'Frode in commerce' and 'Unfair competition'.
